Star Wars Fan Film - Non-geeks beware

It just amazes me what to amateurs can do with digital cinematography and effects programs like Adobe's After Effects. This is pretty damn impressive, especially the little "Force" play towards the end.

Good work, but black shirt boy had poor technique (which only serves to spell out the choreography, which was nonetheless excellent for being amateurs). He was fencing with a lightsaber when lightsabers are basically clubs. Never thought that lightsaber fights were particularly realistic, the double handed thing seems really unnatural. And back shirt was always keeping one hand behind his back, which means he's got no counterbalance...that's just bad fencing.

If blue shirt was smart, he would have stopped pulling the saber to him and pushed it right at black shirt's noggin.

Did you nitpick all 6 Star Wars movies the same way?

Because the goal was to make it look like a lightsaber duel. And since the only lightsaber duels in existence are in Star Wars, you can't apply anything from the real world to it.
